This blog was set up in 2010 to inform people about new music (ie. improvised, electronic, contemporary classical, contemporary jazz etc) in the Illawarra. Since then it hasn't had the love and attention it perhaps deserves.
Still, all of the links on the sidebar are still relevant and it's very easy to update the blog with gigs and news if people have any. If you would like to contribute, please send an email.
The email list that was intended to accompany this site isn't being maintained at this point. If you're a new music enthusiast and would like to take this on, please send an email.

Using a number of instruments, this German-Australian one-man band covers a wide range of styles while carefully avoiding genre-hopping. Hinterlandt has taken on a variety of live formats, performing in places such as Helsinki, Sydney, London, Bangkok, Cologne, Rome, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Berlin, and many others. Furthermore, eleven studio albums were released on ten underground labels in five countries.
